What is Selank?
Selank is a synthetic peptide related to the naturally occurring immunomodulatory peptide tuftsin. It has attracted scientific interest primarily through research examining neurological and anxiety-associated pathways.
What has Selank research found?
Small human studies have been published, including a study comparing Selank with medazepam in patients with generalised anxiety disorder and neurasthenia. Other studies have investigated Selank alongside or compared with established anxiolytic medicines.
